I ran into an incredible find today at the bank- 6 rolls of almost solid wheaties with some proofs and circulation memorials mixed in. There was a 1981-S in there and I think it's the "clear mint-mark" variety but would appreciate any help anyone can give about the type 1 versus type 2 designation.

Either way, not bad for face value!

Yeah, that's what I suspected. Too bad mine's a type 1, but- for face value, I really can't complain!
