I can't figure out why this won't fit in a penny roll:(

Actually, this is one of my nicer error coins. This broad struck 1999 cent is about the same size as a quarter.

A Variety Collector usually has a "Fall Back Arena" when things dry up in rolls for awhile.

David and Joe hit it on the head. I am primarily a variety collector, but seldom pass up a real nice error coin. As Joe stated, it is a fallback when varieties are slow or I need a change of pace. I will post some other error coins as time permits, but compared to Joe's examples, mine are pretty weak:(

No errors are weak.(I'm prodding you to post more). I wish more people would post errors as I enjoy looking at them. I am just glad that the Forum is here for me to share my collection with other collectors.

Problem is I have alot more Errors in other denominations that are really nice also.

But I still have alot of Lincolns to share, along with YOURS and ANYONE Else's who care to post them. (BJ I know you have some)!!!!!!!!!! (LOL)

Bob,
Nice coin! One of the things about error coins is chances are the one you find might be the only one exactly like it. The are a nice change of pace from those tiny little devices that one can barely see to photograph on some variety coins.

I agree Jean,
There's no need for a loupe or scope to see this one, and I would also agree that there wouldn't be any more out there just like this one.

I agree with you and Jean. That is one reason I have been collecting errors for all these years. (NO Two are ALIKE), Maybe Similar.
