Hi, I'm a novice at collecting. I'm looking for a journeyman who has the time and patience to view a few of the coins that I've collected to date then assess my direction and here's an example of what I meant by that last statement. A common mistake with beginners is confusing a doubled die coin with one that has strike doubling. I'm sure half, (that's low balling my estimation) of what I've collected to date are coin with strike doubling.

Thanks,
GLenn

Post pics of your finds here and you'll get a lot of assistance on your finds from LCR members. Mistaking machine doubling for a doubled die is common and it takes time to determine the difference between the two...

Welcome to LCR Glenn!
After about three years of searching and collecting I still get caught up in the master die doubling and doubled die varieties, so I will be learning with you.
