I'm newer to collecting and just wanted the experts opinion as to whether or not this is an example of a true doubled die or not?
Thanks! :)

Welcome to the LCF! I'm not a pro but what I'm seeing on your coin looks like machine doubling (MD) What year is this coin? Is this the only place on the coin where you are seeing this? Your pic is very good!
Here's a link to Jason Cuvelier's information on MD http://www.lincolncentforum.com/?s=machine+doubling

Ok, let me try to help you. The 3rd picture in your last post is a slabbed coin, but your other pictures do not appear to be the same coin. It is critical to be clear about and identify the pictures you are showing, else you will confuse the people who are trying to help you. That said, let me guess that you think you have an example of 1982 zinc small date FS-1801. Am I right? Let's start there, and I will help you from there. Welcome to the forum!
Yes, sir. Been looking back and forth at this coin for months!
All my pictures are of the same coin.
It was slabbed as a PCGS MS62RB 1982 SM. DATE ZINC, but I busted her loose for better pictures....

Thanks. I was going to ask for a photo of EPU next. The overall size of the devices on your coin is normal. The doubled die shows almost complete doubling on overall size, so this does NOT appear to be the DDR. The tapering/thinning you see on the periphery that also exhibits on the DDR die is from overzealous abrasion of the die and happens on many dies. It is not part of the DDR. I just submitted an article about these tapered peripheral devices to coinworld. Anyway, I have to run out, but will chime back in later.
thanks for the follow up images.
One of the best areas of the reverse to see the doubling is on E PLURIBUS UNUM.
You haven't included an image of that area of the reverse but from what you have provided, I do NOT see doubling like the FS-1801
EDIT: Good, Will was able to reply already. His description is much more precise.
Thanks for your courteous and helpful responses, boys!
I love this forum! :)
