It's hard to say for sure without close up pics of the date, Liberty and IGWT because this doubled die exhibits strong extra thickness and the thickness would require a close up look. When your scope comes in, please retake photos of this one so we can see it better.
Ok, thank you, ill do that :) Out of all the 92s ive seen, ive never seen one this thick n bold, caught my eye quickly, all have been squared type :)
That is very interesting looking... When you try to match markers remember that the mention markers are not the only markers on the coin... If you do not see the mentioned markers then looking at the images and comparing any die scratches, die dots, chips or cracks works just as good... The different sites mention markers based on what the individual doing the attribution thinks is most likely to be on the dies thru most of the dies life... If they were to mention all possible markers then there would be no room for any other info... I agree with Vivien that some close ups as clear as possible will be needed to be sure... I hope you get your scope soon!!!
Thank you Jim for chiming in! Wexler has the only DDO listed and the listing does not show any markers. That makes it even more difficult to determine if you have a doubled die based entirely upon extra thickness, especially since 1992's have a chunky font to begin with. This is one where a side by side comparison might be needed.
Some clearer pics may help... The obv die doesn't look to be to late of a stage as the devices look to be fairly crisp, other than circ wear and PSD, but I can't tell for sure???

I know this aint the side by side you were talking about but I figure id try this way anyway to help lol come on scope.
That was good thinking!! You can tell there is a difference in the thickness between the two. It will be cool to see what you are seeing when you get your scope.
Cool... However the lower coin appears to have circ wear that has flattened the devices and the upper coin has glare from the devices making it difficult to tell if there is extra thickness... You know whats weird - both coins look to have had slightly mis-aligned dies... The lower coin was worse than the upper... Notice the rim thickness from WE thru TRUST - lower coin is much thinner!!!
I didnt notice that lol so far all the 92s ive found have had flattenned dates but this one is rounded on all devices, or it appears so to me.
I was piddling on my phone, does this help any?
