Nice lams... You can see the hit on the west side at the rim pushed the metal to the east... Even shifted the LI east... The one on the east has migrated in toward the west... Can't tell what is going on at the chin and neck area tho!!!
Thank you enamel and Jim! I'm happy to find lam's even though this one is a little rough :) Jim, this Lincoln has some discoloration and it really shows up at the neck, but there's also some PSD there that exaggerates the look of it. The left lam is lifting up quite a bit, had it not been in a CWR it probably would have fallen off already!
Cool... Thanks for the follow up Vivien... That west lam does look like it is about to fall off... You saved it from the heap of scrap :LOL_Hair: Guess some one tried to make another lam on the neck and chin :LOL_Hair:
That's a good one Viv!! It's coming apart all over!
Thank you Jon! This one is different from any I've found, but it seems like the impurity in the alloy does seem to run in a line sometimes.
Pretty substantial Lam, Viv.
I agree with Jim about the strength of the hit on the west lam pushing it eastward. Probably why it is loose.
