Nice to see you back Mike! I'm probably the worst person here when it comes to telling the difference between raised and incuse anomalies. The full coin shot, the anomaly looks incuse, but the close ups look raised, so I'm guessing it is raised?

Well, lighting and different angles of the camera can make these things tricky to figure out. See if you can stick a toothpick inside the anomaly while it's under the scope.

Can you tell if the anomaly is either recessed or raised above the surface of the coin?
Hey nice to see you back with us from far away... (I deleted this thought)... If it turns out to be raised then it would be die damage!!!
Added - After further thought and looking at the pics again I dropped my PSD theory and if it is incues I think a struck through... The edges are really clean looking that I do not think a hit would leave!!!
