I didn't know where else to ask about this quarter I think its the ddr listed in the book strike it rich with pocket change and cherrypickers fs-027.8 but I have been wrong before any help would be great
Slayer, your coin exhibits what's called machine doubling and is not a doubled die. The "doubling" effect you see is flat and shelf-like and there is a reduction in size of the letters. For example, compare the width of the E of AMERICA at the bottom vs. the top: it's narrower at the top where the doubling effect is more prominent. In the Cherrypicker's Guide, notice how the doubling on the E goes from top to bottom and is wider, as well as rounded.
Lastly, compare the two Ts in STATES. The notching (doubling) on the cross bar is absent in your coin.
