    Anyone own the Nikon D5100 16.2MP?

    Just wondering if you had any pros or cons. Thanks!

    Whelp went ahead and picked one up, arrived today, cant wait to give it a going over. Never owned a DSLR before so I got alot of learning to do.

    Still waiting for the attachement to my amscope until then Ill be playing with full coin shots.

    Sorry, I could not respond because I know nothing much about cameras except I like one with macro, and the just-point-and-shoot option.

    I got mine yesterday and expect to run it through the tests by this weekend. I've got my D70 on the Tradong Post.

    Can we see some of the full coin shots?

    I have a D5000 that works really well for coins. I've heard the Live View on D5100 is very good, so you should be able to get good shots tethered to the computer using Camera Control Pro 2 ($$$) or ControlMyNikon (~$20).
