A lot of what makes this coin looks so good is its crisp color, fantastic bold doubling, and just being in the right place at the right time. My first thought was, this is going to be MD. A bright red coin like this, a DDO? Goodness was I surprised.

I would imagine anyone would get some pretty good shots, if not great shot, of this coin. It was inherently that nice.

I've never seen one, photographed or in hand, that looked so good. I have a renewed and greater appreciation for this DDO now.

In circulated grades, on DDO-001, the doubling in LIBERTY just vanishes. You cannot really appreciate it without seeing an uncirculated specimen. The motto does hold up, and the date, to a degree, does as well when circulated. Wexler has pics of an UNC EDS on his site.
