Rad MAD Die Clash

Shows what appears to be the arced negative impression from MERI from AMERICA having clashed through the date. A nice MAD clash to keep a look at for.

1996-D LLO-001
with Lathe Lines obverse

Still the strongest LL I have yet to see from 1996. Shows circular, near concentric, circles that are really one long spiral from the last lathing operation that shaped the die into a cone. The lines were ostensibly not polished off properly and survived the hubbing process.
