CONECA, Coppercoins, and Wexler cross-references
Everyone on this forum has collecting goals for their Lincoln cents. Some are attempting top 100 lists, some the CONECA library, others every possible listable variety. I myself would like a complete set of every CONECA, Coppercoins, and Wexler variety listed (minus the impossible 1958 DDO-001 of course). As a 26 year old I feel this is a good life long goal. In order to complete this, it is essential to have cross-references between the three systems. As many likely have previously, I have noted cross-references for myself over the past few years as I have spotted them. Subsequently, I decided to make a list to keep track of both the coins I have and the coins I need. This led to the creation of two lists, a 1909-1958, and 1959-date list. These lists are 81 pages and 63 pages respectively. There is around 7500 lines of coins between the two, each corresponding to a known variety, whether or not I personally have that coin yet. It does not list many 1991 to date varieties unless I happen to have those coins. It will likely grow to surpass the 1909-1958 list if I do ever get the modern varieties listed.
More recently, with the addition of the CONECA listings online for free, I decided to attempt a massive cross-reference of RPMs, DDOs, and DDRs from 1909-2008 between the three systems. I have been having some real fun doing this project, but could use a little help from the members here. As I have recently reached 100 cross references that could be listed by coppercoins, I have a couple that I think might be but really am just unsure of. A couple looking back are likely not correct. If anyone could help confirm or deny the cross-reference it would be greatly appreciated. This way when I send Bob a list it will be accurate.
Also, in spite of the randomness of the below years, I have been marking off completed years so I know which years to still cross-reference.

This is quite a useful endeavor. Just a quick glance I would say the '37Ss are not the same. The mint mark location is slightly higher on 1dr-001 and the first dot between the E & P on DDR-002 appears more elongated.
I think you are correct that 1969 1DO001 is WDDO003 and not DDO002.
The others are so close that it would take an in-hand examination.

Thanks for your help guys. I'm only focusing on years that are completed by Wexler first. Most of the years have yet to be finished. After I complete those I'll consider if I should continue. I'm down to 1943-d through 1948-d RPMs and a few scattered 1990s and 2000s on the doubled dies, along with 1968PDS which I find frustrating as I believe most of CONECA's listings to be from a doubled working hub.
My thoughts at this point.
1928-D is indeterminate without in hand inspection
1935-D 1DO-002 is indeterminate, though WDDO-004 and DDO-003 are definitely the same variety (eye scratches)
1937-S is incorrect, not even sure what I saw here
1969 is correct
1970 I have no evidence for the DDO-006, but I believe the WDDO-005 might still be 1DO-005, see below for photos.
1971-D is indeterminate
1978-D is indeterminate though likely would be confirmed with higher grade specimens in my opinion, also the R in TRUST is notched in both
2006-D is indeterminate and I have no evidence for either cross-reference

I have a cross reference for 1909 through 1958. Contains 4220 entries. xrefs Wexler, CONECA, Coppercoins, CPG, Mint Mark Style, Crawford, Potter, Breen, etc. I'll give you a copy if you want it. Only catch is it is in Acess97 Database which I can convert to a Excel97 Spreadsheet. I think I could convert it to a delimited file. This is unsupported 20 year old software that will not upward integrate and covert in newer versions of Office. And it is my understanding Office 97 will only work on an OS of XP or lower. Yes I am still running XP on my computer. I have gotten to old to keep up. You can PM me if you want a copy.

Hi Dan,
I love what you got going and where you are running with it. Just a minor thing I noticed...1935 1DO-002 might be DDO-003, WDDO-004
