    1941S RPM New I believe?

    Additional Information
    Date: 1941
    Variety: RPM
    Mint: San Francisco

Found this in my box from Larry this morning... Looked thru CC VV and Wexler and did not find a match... VV lists 2 MM styles for the 41S - MMS-002 (Small) and MMS-004 (Trumpet Tail)... This coin has the MMS-002... A nice split in the lower serif but I can not really tell if the upper serif has a split... I marked it with a black arrow on the MM close up... I did not see any markers to speak of... Any input on if this is a new listing would be appreciated!!!

It's hard to be certain that it isn't all damage. Even that lower "split" doesn't look quite natural. Hard to say.
All opinions expressed are not necessarily shared by willbrooks or his affiliates. Taking them may result in serious side effects. Results may vary. Offer not valid in New Jersey.

For some reason, the indentions on the upper serif ring a bell but cannot find any info on it. I am leaning the same direction as Will, in that area though. The lower part, not so sure about but with a circulated coin, who knows....

I saw some markers that got my attention with Wexler's WRPM-015 and yours but the alignment is off, as far as the tilt, so don't think it's a match. If it is an RPM, it's a new one, nice work on this one, Jim!

I do not remember if I have written permission from Wexlers site to post overlays but I did an overlay and my MM is slightly west and rotated... With the circ wear it may be difficult to tell if it is actually a RPM tho??? Thanks for the input!!!
