This week at the Colorado Springs Coin Show the President of the Colorado Springs Numismatic Society, Terry Carver, ask me to look at 1972 Lincoln Cent that was in a coin envelop with the name “LONESOME JOHN” printed on it. How neat is it to see a variety from John Devine “Lonesome John” a founding member of CONECA?
I think this is this a “very” LDS of the 1972P-1DO-003, WDDO-003. What do you think?
Thanks Terry for letting me image your coin.
Good judgment comes from experience, and a lotta that comes from bad judgment.
And lonesome john too.
Nice I have a hard time with the 3 and 8 DDOs I need my book to help id them.. but nice addition with a connection to a known Numismatist
Good.
