Really crisp 47 nickel from the cashier

Filthy but a crisp strike both sides for anything earlier that mid-80's.

I can't tell if it only has two steps or if a wheelchair ramp is under construction.

Might have to conserve this one with a bit of oil.

I do like nickels and I think by the time the US Mint learns how to stamp them really well, there will be no more coins.

The late stuff is pretty crisp although they do seem to look like a rough night in a Tijuana jail after a very short while.

Always fun to find old nickels.
Haven't seen many in the last few years.

20 years ago there were still a lot of them, you could pretty well fill the folder with everything even the silvers except the 50-D. Don't think it's possible nowdays.

This decent circulated 85 D looks like a few letters were squeezed out of a toothpaste tube and some a couple times.

Yes but you need to look at tons of nickels now LOL

In the last few years I've only got a few wartimes and strangely a few nice looking 38s.
