1925 DDR-001 MS65RD for sale (not by me)

Hopefully someone here can bid on this coin. The price is too high for me to be able to afford. This coin is currently at auction and will end in one hour. This variety was discovered by me earlier this year and this coin is by far the nicest of the variety that I have seen.

Great collections sells coins for people, much like Heritage Auctions. They have no interest in varieties, and likely wouldn't recognize one if they saw it anyways.

The buyer may or may not realize the coin is a DDR. Many collectors will never notice the extra thickness on the reverse, and the coin would become part of a non variety set. Most bidders are definitely not variety collectors, likely including most bidders on GC.

I do tend to cherrypick quite a few coins, mostly minor RPMs that are in PCGS or NGC holders with great photos, or DDRs that can be seen with any quality of photos. This is an example of a nice die that can be picked out even with bad or small photos. I probably could share more but I hesitate to give away some of my searches and favorite sellers. Many picks come from the same sellers. A couple picks a month for multiple sellers can really add up!
