Well, I was just about to fall asleep and this showed up! Was too tired to have a heart attack, but I'm still shaking my head wondering if I am seeing things!

Well, young lady, let me be the first to congratulate you. I don't see how it could be anything but the very elusive "close AM".
It couldn't have happened to a more giving person. Well done.

Excellent find... Does not look to be in to bad of shape either... Now you need to get the attribution done and have it slabbed... COOL!!!

Thank you all very much! I'm still in shock! It looks pretty good, red but dirty, no bad spots! I'm not doing anything to it, no acetone or mineral oil. I checked for seams or anything that looked suspicious and don't see anything. I have to leave for work, but you know I have some questions later about where to send it next. #stokedabouttheclam

Great stuff, I never believe it when I find a big one either, I am still looking for one. Maybe it is still possible in my next box.

WOW!!! I am super excited for you Viv. Keep us informed every step of the way on this one. I would still take steps to conserve it though. Do you have any Verdi-care?
