I have only been interested in coins since I found some world coins of my grandfathers' a couple of weeks ago. So then I decided to look through my coin jar. I found 79 wheat pennies and a 1904 penny. I had 7 years of change tp go through. Again I am new and will be the first to admit I don't know much but I have been researching this well covered hobby. I quickly figured out if there are 5 DDO's in 50 1987 D's I must need to research a little more for what I am looking for. There is not a coin shop here but I think I remember seeing some years ago in an antique store. It's exciting - I love the HUNT. Howdy folks

Not sure I understand that, did you find 5 DDOs out of 50?I quickly figured out if there are 5 DDO's in 50 1987 D's I must need to research a little more for what I am looking for.
There are a lot of MD or die wear (ghostly doubling) on cents from that era.
