    1961D - Master Die Doubling???

    Got a question for the pros... I am working on attributions for a member and have come across something interesting (To me anyway)... I have noticed that on RPMs - CC-1MM-035 and 036 crosses over to VVs - RPM-035 and 036 there appears to be doubling on the chin and lips... The only image I have found that shows this is on CCs 036, 2nd image, http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/d...&die_state=lds Is this MDD a reengraved die or a DDO??? Any help is appreciated!!!

    I seem to remember that 1961 had master die doubling on IGWT and the date

    I have samples of 035 in 2, what appears to be, new die stages and samples of the 036 and all the coins have the anomaly at the chin and lips maybe on the date as well (needs closer inspection)... Thanks Roger!!!

    I would think if it was mater die doubling it would exhibit on all 1961 cents. Possibly something common to the working HUB or a sub-master?

    I have just posted a list of MDD on the recent 1952D thread. Hopefully, a moderator can make a sticky out of it. 1961 did have MDD.

    If I did it correctly it is a sticky in Error Examples??? Did the MDD on the 61Ds include the lips and chin???
