Thanks for the reply. in hand, it does not look flattened and does not appear to be damaged. Below is a straight-on pic. Tried to get an angled shot but, it does not look promising.
Trying to keep my picks and responses to multiple coins straight and it is proving burdensome.
Note to self: In the future, just post one coin at a time.
Straight on pics are always the best... Close ups of the date and MM would be of great help for these RPMs if at all possible... Either way I will do the best I can to help you out... As for lighting - Have you tried reflecting your light off a piece of white printer paper??? That is what I use for most of my images... You can also cut, tape or fold the paper in the shape that works best... I have done the over load in the past... I had, if memory serves me correctly, 10 RPMs all the same year and MM I posted in separate threads all within half an hour... I overloaded the folks here and myself... On your column chips and cracks... There appears to be a crack from the top chip that branches to the east that is not on VVs samples http://varietyvista.com/02b%20LC%20R...960DRPM005.htm of any stage... Also the bottom of the chip on the column itself looks different than the listed samples... Your MM looks to be in the correct spot and appears to be correct with the secondary MM... VV starts at Stage B and goes thru Stage F... I could be wrong but I think yours is a later Stage than F??? Tkae a good look at the chips/cracks and make sure... If need be I could down load your pic and put some pointers on it for you!!!

Thanks, I'll experiment with the paper diffusion method and recheck the reverse. I now have a 17.5X magnifier [thanks to my better half] and am getting better at the pics.

After rechecking VV I see what you mean about the column crack: My coins crack seems a bit longer, however, the other issue that is mentioned is a depression to the right of the cornice?. I don't see a depression on mine. Thanks again for your diligence/experience. I never imagined searching for RPMs would get so precise, DDs seem like child's play, now. LOL
Congrats TPring on another nice RPM find! Your photos are really good and getting better every day. It just takes practice and the tips the guys give us really do help! Thank you Jim for dedicating your time to helping folks out!
