That is cool looking... To me it almost looks like PSD but I am not totally sure... If it were PSD that heavy I would think the high spots of the devices such as the hair and the building would be completely ground down... Your pics are a little blurry when I zoomed in... We will see what some of the pros think... You have got me stumped on this one... Good job!!!
Added... Looking at this again the rims appear some what affected leading me to think PSD from a wire brush!!!

What does the coin weigh? It does look like post mint damage (PSD).

We'll move this to the error forum where Mike Diamond might take a look.....my first thoughts were PSD, but it doesn't seem to affect the rims

My thoughts as well. Also the C of CENTS on the reverse should have been wiped away werer this PSD.
Just a guess at this point but the dies could have come together with something other than a planchet in between them and these could be massive die dents.
Two cancelled dies used together is a bit out there.
John
So sad ... My reverse consumption engine was a broken fuel gauge ... gonna look at coins now. John

It sure looks scratched up to me. But that's what I first thought about my one and only example of a coin struck by defaced dies. Feel free to send it to me for an examination. -- Mike

Thank you very much Mike!
Coin Faerie, you can private message Mike.
Go to "Notifications" then "In Box", then "Send New Message" in the "Recipient Users" type in mikediamond and that will pop up, click on that and continue with your private message so you can get the address to send it to him if you would like to do that.
