    Thank you John.
Very nice looking coin. Was it listed as the variety or did you Cherry Pick it?
(It is nice to get some exposure to varieties of different denominations with different metals since a lot of us are so focused on Lincolns.)

I cherry picked it years ago , ether at a show or from a shop. This is the flip it came in and I just added the mark that it was a DDO, then later that it was die #1. Looks to be better than an ms-60 and 6.00 was a good price !

Very nice John!! It shows as a minor variety but the pop numbers are really low on this guy! PCGS has 3-at MS63 and 1 at MS64. Very nice pickup for $6!

Excellent pick... Six dollars is a good price unless of course that was in 1947 dollars then that would be a little steep Is that die flow lines or die pitting on both sides??? Makes it look frosted... Unless I am missing something MS60 should be about correct??? There appears to be a bunch of nicks and dings on George and maybe a larger one at the top of the eagles east leg??? How much detail is there suppose to be in the eagles leg feathers???

Added - VV doesn't have picks but Wexler does http://doubleddie.com/1819525.html

(A.K.A. Elmer Fudd) Be verwy verwy quiet... I'm hunting coins!!! Good Hunting!!!
