Nice find Vivien... How sure are you that it is CCs 003 http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/d...&die_state=mds and not CCs 010 http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/d...&die_state=mds The doubling on the date to me looks closer to 010 especially at the bottom of the 06 and in the beard and hair??? I do not see the fore head crack but that could be a die state difference... However on the rev the die gouge south of the memorial next to the rim on yours looks to be going more NNE and CCs is nearly due north??? CC does state that we need to "scrutinize the markers"!!!

They are similar. When I found the first 010s I thought they were 03s. Searched the whole brick then looked at them closer and realized they were a not 03s. they both have those football 0s. Look close at the markers, I can't tell for sure from the pics.
Jim and Ed... and others who would like to jump in and help! I did not see any of the coppercoins.com Die 010 markers, this coin does not appear to have die scratches.
But what is the thing on the T of Liberty on Bob's photo of the Die 010? I'm seeing something on the T of my coin, not exactly the same spot but close enough for me to ask. (photo attached)
