    1983 No Lincoln in bay

    Additional Information
    Date: 1983

Would this qualify as an error ? Lincoln is missing and there seem to be some plating issues.

Typical horrible quality for many 83s. Horrible plating and ugly harsh polishing lines.
It was enough to hide Lincoln pretty well.
On some of them Abe is still there but the FG is gone.

I'm with Ed... Sometimes the knees of Abe will be all that remains in the bay!!!

Yep, lots of die scrapes and heavy polishing lines.
Might have been eliminated when removing a clash.
