    Unanswered: Die Crack (Again I hope I am Posting In Right Thread)

    Is this a die crack or just a scratch? Thank you!!

    Hi timmyster! There is a form titled "Collector Q&A" so if you are ever unsure where to post a thread, that would be a good place. But you are doing fine, it's okay here!

    That is a scratch PSD (post strike damage) it is incuse on your coin. A die crack will be raised line. You can see some examples of die cracks in our Glossary at the link below

    You are welcome! 1983's have lots of die cracks and die clashes, you can usually find something fun to see on those!
