I think I may have finally found my first CUD!! There are half a dozen listings in the same general area but I don't think this one is listed. Just wanted to make sure that's what it was before sending to JC.
Looks good to me Jon! Congrats! I don't know how the designation from rim cud becomes cud unless if part of the cud is touching the field, then it's considered a cud at that time? Guess we'll find out when JC lists it, it's a nice one!
Looks like a rim cud to me also... You're moovin' on up That looks to just be touching the field... On the west edge at the field it looks as if the rim is tapered and disappears just before entering the cud as the metal flowed into the chipped out area!!!

Thanks Jim!! I read up on the CUDs a little and it does not give a percentage or how far into the field it needs to be but agree with all here. I would say it will come back as a rim CUD. That will be ok though!

If memory serves me correct a rim cud does not have to enter the field but I am not sure??? JC may be able to answer that???
