I would say you are correct on the pin idea. Probably would not grade because of this if you were going to send in.

Still a nice coin to have in your collection Frank, even if you are not able to send it back. It does look like little burn marks like you said from trying to solder it to a piece of jewelry or a pin. Since you have been on the hunt for these, what are your chances of finding an upgrade?

Pretty good, Viv...eventually. I've been doing a little bit of sales on YouTube (of all places, but it works!), and silver is always hot.

Were it a $100 or more purchase, I would for sure pursue returning it. Things as they are, a bit more hassle than I have the motivation for
