Found this RIT last night! There is only one 95 RIT listed on cuds-on-coins and the one I have may just be a larger version of it. I will send it JC so he can decide if he would like to list it.
When JC lists BIE's, etc. he needs a full photo of LIBERTY so I included that pic. I could not find any markers, mostly because the plating on this coin is rippled! What I thought might be a die scratch or the beginning of a die crack from the rim at R to the top of the cornice is just not convincing enough to me so I'm leaning toward PSD. Your thoughts on that are appreciated!
Nice find Viv!! I am amazed I don't run across the BIE's any more than I do but you have been on a good run!! For you marker, I say to the "A" is a scratch and to the "R" is a nice little crack.
Thank you Jon for taking a look! Okay, so at R to the top of the cornice looks like a slight die crack to you. It is weak at the rim and in the middle so I wasn't sure.
it does look more like a ROT! LOL... thank you TPring! You know TPring, I really like this Celestron and sometimes I can get really nice pics out of it... and other times not so great but I guess it just takes practice!

Yes -- and your pics look good. From what I have experienced [and what you and others have probably already surmised], is that conditions can/do change with each coin and adjustments must be made to get it right.
That being said, usually I just get the quickest/easiest pic that conveys my message [whether good or not].
Kudos to you and the others that make the effort to generate nice pics.
Back to the Celestron, I think it is an excellent value and a good scope. My one hangup is trying to fine tune a picture on/near the highest magnification. The focus wheel will sometimes go to far or not quite far enough for precise magnification and it will 'jump' off to the side and I have to re-center the coin back under the lens.
So glad I got it because it has opened up a whole new world.
Thanks again for all the leg work in discovering/finding it.

Thank you TPring! I'm glad you are enjoying your Celestron and it has opened up a new world for you too! I have had the same thing happen with the scope jumping to the side during precise focusing at high magnification, not sure why it does that?
