    1939 DDR-001 (5¢ Jefferson)

    I have been on the hunt for a better example of this classic class IV Jefferson DDR and this is it. I'd agree the partial regional hubbing suggests it was tilted (class VII) as well.

    I'll share a nice example of DDR-002 (FS-802) tomorrow...

    You're welcome to guess the grade.

    I would say MS-60 at least, talk about seeing double, these are nice big beautiful clear doubled letters, a well struck double die. Wish I had one. very, very nice coin, thanks for sharing............Dan

    Nice coin. Grading Jeffs isn't my thing, but MS64.

    I would say at least MS65 but wonder if the green spot and black spot on the obverse kept it Unc details?
