I see what you mean about 003. I remember thinking it was an odd one with lots of "odd" going on, but couldn't place my finger on it (Old black and white images couldn't hold my attention long.)
But now that you mention it there seems to be doubling going both directions. That doen't make sense unless there is doubling and MD on the coin in the images.

Seems like similar images that have come up on the forum were determined to be something other than a DDO. Hmmmmmm......

That is interesting... It would be nice to see the entire coin... Take a look at CCs 001 http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/d...&die_state=mds there appears to be some similarities between the RTYs of CCs 001 and Wexlers 003??? Wonder if Wexlers 003 could be a VLDS that has been overly abraded???
