    There is such a thing as a uniface strike if I remember correctly. Haven't a clue if this one is anything like it. Check out error ref.com

    If the plating is gone on the obv, it's probably been sanded/away, PSD.

    Found one just like that years ago, on mine I could see lines/scrapes where it looked like someone used a file on it. Just don't get why someone would take the time to do things like that?

    Thanks for the follow up... At 2.1 grams I'm with Ed... Some one ground it down... The copper makes up 2.5% of the total weight of 2.5 grams... .4 grams missing is a lot more than the total weight of the copper and your coin is missing only half the copper... It also looks as if your coin was turned on a lathe??? There are some circular type rings toward the center that could be from a lathing process!!!
