Picked this in an unattributed PCGS holder on a dealer web site. I was not 100% it was an RPM but I took a chance since it would have been an upgrade for my regular 1929 S. Guess i won this time.
Excellent pick... That die chip south of the lower serif is a big marker... Comparing yours with VVs http://varietyvista.com/02a%20LC%20R...929SRPM001.htm yours could be a Stage D??? Your rev MM marker looks liter than the Stage C and the chip looks to be worn more??? Would make an excellent inclusion into the files if it is a Stage D!!!

Excellent pick and a beautiful coin ! If I remember correctly , you are upgrading from a very nice 64 RB. Just wondering how you are gonna top this one !!!

So sad ... My reverse consumption engine was a broken fuel gauge ... gonna look at coins now. John
That is correct that it upgrades my 64 R&B I picked few years back. I was surprised to see the Population report for MS 65 RPM 1 Examples at PCGS is currently 6 which is more than I would have expected. There are 45 regular strikes in MS 66 but if I did see one unattributed in a MS 66 holder - I would not be able to afford it. So I am happy with what I got.
