    Intermediary stages?

I have a 1961d RPM001 that is somewhere around stage B or C and I'd like to know if it is possible to be early stage C or late stage B? In other words, are stages sub-divided?

Stage B has no chips on columns and Stage C shows chips on both.

My coin has the die chip on column 12 but, I do not see a chip on column 1.

    Thanks,

Yes, I can try to get some pics however it is a very shiny coin in a flip -- I may have to wait for the next day with good natural light.

It is a coin that I purchased, not found.
