    1946D-DDO-007 PCGS MS65 eBay pick

    Additional Information
    Date: 1946
    Variety: DDO
    Mint: Denver
    Coneca: DDO-007 (7-O-IV)

I was lucky enough to pick this one for $10 shipped. It matches Wiles' stage A photos pretty well.

    http://varietyvista.com/01a%20LC%20D...946DDDO007.htm

Coppercoins only has 2 listings, and Wexler is missing a ton of images for 1946-D doubled dies. If anyone knows Wexler's cross-ref number, assuming there even is one, I would be greatly appreciative. I have another pretty good pick to post soon. I got it today also. Thanks for looking guys!

    Can't go wrong for $10.

    A big eyelid.

Really easy to match those lines on the 19, no doubt on that matching.

Love them when the extra eyelid is that strong. Real nice pick!

Nice pick... I think yours is a new die Stage... VV only has the Stage A http://varietyvista.com/01a%20LC%20D...946DDDO007.htm and comparing the abrasions around your date/MM and jacket edge you have some extra abrasions and are missing others... Also notice hoe the jacket edge on yours is missing compared to the Date/MM image on VVs sample... Yours would make an excellent update to the VV files!!!

    Thanks all!

I agree Jim. I noticed, after further inspection, it isn't as crisp as the stage A images. Great observations!
