    1968D DDR

    Additional Information
    Date: 1968
    Variety: DDR
    Mint: Denver
    Coneca: 001
    FS#: 801

Finally got the monkey off my back with this one!

There is only one DDR for the 1968D and, I believe this is it.

Notches on reverse USA, EPU and doubling on FG.

    Thanks,

That's a great find. That's a tough die to come across.

Look at all that gorgeous notching on the reverse devices. And uncirculated to boot?
    Congratulations Tpring.

If you just pulled that from an OBW roll, look for more!

    Thanks for the responses/info.

As far as searching, I believe this is my first and only DD to date -- Except for [possibly] a coin with an extra eyelid.

Happy to have finally found one since my stash of '69D's and S's [and my 68S's] didn't produce anything [not even an RPM].

Tired of getting my hopes dashed from all the MD.

edit: GrumpyEd - you better believe I looked for more [had about 200+ coins], even went back and double-checked the ones already checked.

Wow!!! Congrats TPring! What an awesome looking example of the 68D DDR!!! That one should keep you smiling for awhile and... you thought that RPM's were just gonna be your thing!
