    Update on my kids

My daughter, Kylie, had her eye surgery last Monday. They were just going to do the right eye, but they just decided to do both eyes. Kylie woke up in a great mood and has been great since! Kylie is a champ! She takes her medications without complaining and she gets a growth hormone therapy shot every night. (she is 6, but she has the bones of a 4 year old). She calls it her pinch. She does great at that too!!
My son Justin was recently diagnosed with being fully autistic. He is on the genius side it seems. He is 2 1/2 years old and he can match things up and match shapes with colors as well. If it is stackable, it gets stacked. He also lines things up and is very particular on getting it exactly the way he wants it. Including my rolls of coins. Lol! He can barely look at a piece of a puzzle and immediately place it in the correct place and even figure out which way to turn it. It's amazing to watch him!!

Kids are so much stronger than we give them credit for. I wish only the best for both of them, and you too! Thanks for that update.

So happy to hear that your children are doing okay and that your daughter's surgery is over and was successful! I'm sure you and your hubby are relieved! Sounds to me like you have two very smart and adorable children, that's a lot to be proud of! Thank you for the update Sheila!

Thanks for the update Sheila. Such good news about your daughter's surgery and positive attitude.
And it's great your son is taking to collecting Lincoln's (in piles).

Nice to hear -- Seconding what others say about kids' resiliency.

Great attitude -- Making the most out of what you were dealt.
