Advice on what to keep in the copper part of collection

    Hi Lincoln Cent Friends,

I am notsure what to do with my copper collection and would appreciate help to decide.Next month Will be moving and it’s about time to reduce my collection of sortedcoins by 60%.
Here arethe following years that I have sorted out without any proper plan. Which yearsshould be kept for closer inspection?

    59 60 61 6263 64 65 66 67 68 69 70 71 73 74 75 76 77 78 79 80 81 82
    59d 63d 68d69d 70d 71d 72d 73d 74d 75d 77d 78d

    Everythingfrom 1983-2011 will be kept.

    KindRegards,
    Mici

I might keep these and dump the others:

    59 60 64 66 68 69 70 71 72 73 80 82
    59d 63d 68d

Everyone might have other ideas so see what they say.

Hi Mici! Nice to hear from you! You have a nice collection going on! Ed has the years listed that I would pick also. The only one I would add to keep is 76P since there is a pretty nice DDO for that year. Hopefully once you get moved you will have more time to start searching your collection!

Thank you guys for the advice.
At one moment I thought that it might be wise to keep all the D mint mark coins since there might be some re-punch errors.

Initially I saved all the copper coins with the aim to keep them for very long time but now it seems like I will reduce the size. If I had a house with a nice loft or cellar then this would not be an issue.

    Have a great Memorial Day!
    Mici
