Is this the future of the Lincoln 1 cent???

I have a side by side comparison of a Euro 1 cent my wife found in a parking lot... Much smaller than the 2017P 1c... Could this be the future size of the Lincoln??? Even tho this Euro 1c is damaged there is still fairly good detail in the design... Maybe we could convince the mint to make a small version of the wheaties

That's a cute little thing. I would see them canning cents altogether before this happens but you never know. Just so you know, it looks like notching on the southeast portion of RTY, just sayin.

I think they should make tiny dollar coins or say we can use cents as dollars, then we'd get rewarded for hoarding them haha

I suggested they go to plastic a few years ago. They will last a lot longer. Totally serious. Lower cost to make, last longer, nobody will counterfeit them. (at least I don't think they would, but I could be wrong) It's a slam dunk, but nobody listens to me.

Good idea Viv, Cheese would work, we could eat the change or use them as dog treats.

Ever see all the 1942 pattern cents, they made them out of plastic, glass, the stuff they made film out of, cardboard etc and even made proofs but they decided in the end to make the 1943 cents out of zinc plated steel.
