Found this retained cud this morning while searching customer rolls from my bank.

I brought a box of donuts to my bank on Friday for the tellers and was rewarded with 82 customer rolls. I found this 1940-S this morning while searching them. I haven't got a chance to see if it is listed yet.

I really don't know what would cause that. If it is a hit, it's minute.

    Nice surprise.
Is that a lamination on the obv. & rev. as well, through the lapel and E T of ONE CENT or PSD?
They look similar in shape and texture.
And another crack starting at the base of the left wheat stalk?

I do not see a lamination so it's probably PSD. There appears to be a crack starting on the left stalk base.
