    I also think there might be something where Pete said, sort of below the U of united and between there and the building but very faint?

    From the surface I'm thinking it's a copper but not sure.

    Copper would be my guess also. That was why I was thinking more of the clash instead of plating blisters in that area.

    IT'S COPPER WITH A NICE RAINBOW LOOK.THERE SEEMS TO BE SOMETHING IN THAT AREA UNDER THE U BUT I CAN'T MAKE OUT WHAT IT CAN BE.

    I think it is part of LIBERTY. Maybe LIB. This would make sense, as strong as the TY is clashed.

    Nice find Ken... That is strong... There also appears to be clash marks in B7 thru B9... The chin and maybe tip of the bow tie??? Is there staining north of the R and south of the B in LIBERTY???

    Jim you are correct on both locations reddish toning obv (stains) & rev.
