Nice images of a difficult subject- clad coins.
You've probably mentioned this before but do you use an "imaging box" to control the amount of light reaching your coins?

Very nice example and pics John! I like the in and out look where there were two at one point that eventually came together.

Look for yourself , I'm not sure what you would call the mess that serves as my lighting !

In the pic there is a dime on top of the black wrapped shotgun shell I use separate the coin from the background for full coin shots.

Ahhh, I see it now.
That is quite the setup. Especially like the red copper wire stabilizing the "barrel", the light diffusers and the cup of Joe.

Nice cud... Excellent images also... I like your set up... You really get some awesome images... Who would have thought a shotgun shell casing would have a dual purpose
