Has this topic been discussed on LCF? "2017-P DDO"

Can't find any posts on this subject.
I'm wondering if it is fake news.

Well first off "Chattanooga Coins" does not even use the correct terminology. Twice they call it a double die and not doubled die. So I'm not sure how much stock I would put in there news. Right now there are seven known 2017 P Doubled Dies listed on Wexler though. As for the coins without water spots I don't know if the spotless are worth more.

I don't normally trust anything put out by Chattanooga Coin. They have a very sketchy past. They don't even mentioned who 'confirmed' this particular 'Double Die'. and they are ALWAYS overpriced. I am not convinced this is a true doubled die anyway. Now they are trying to sell some 2017P rolls for $6 a roll or $300 a box? Are you kidding me? You can get Wheat cent rolls for less than that. Save your money. Many, many rolls and boxes of 2107P rolls are still available for face value.

The best DD found so far (that has been reported) for the 2017P is WDDO-017 http://doubleddie.com/2318537.html which crosses to VVs 001 http://varietyvista.com/01e%20LC%20D...017%20cent.htm To me the one that Chattanooga Coins is showing looks like one of the 2 known doubled hubs that Wexlers lists!!!

Marketing hype. All I see is reflection in the pics.

I wonder why the "2017-P Lincoln Penny Roll (50 Rolls)" is $199.00 and the "2017-P Lincoln Cent Rolls (50 Rolls)" is $299.00.
And I wonder why anyone would pay $4-6 for a 2017 roll.

So $199 a box for pennies and $299 a box for cents.

I didn't even notice the price difference for the pennies vs cents
