    Answered: 1943S RPM? A

    I came upon a small hoard of steelies (1943 Lincoln cents).

    I found a couple of double dies and a few RPMs, but I have questions about three examples.

    Here is the first one...

    This one might just be die deterioration...

    If you look at lots of them you'll find ones with deterioration doubling and also ones where the S is vanishing like 4s vanish. If you look through circ rolls supposedly of Ps, you'll find some very weak S mints hidden among them.
