My latest brick purchase produced 21 wheat finds. All either from the 40s and 50s. Thought I would share a couple of pictures of the prettiest ones. Always nice to find a 60ish year old coin looking like they were minted yesterday. Well almost yesterday!

Oh, the other nice thing is coins like that tend not to change much or tone fast, like they've already got a micro layer of toning that built up slowly and sort of protects them, so if you toss these in a drawer or bag with some brilliant fresh 2018s and let em sit, these ones will probably stay about the way they are but the brilliant fresh 2018s will be at the mercy of the exact conditions and may tone or spot fast or get lucky and live to be stable old red coins like the ones you found.
