    1943-D DDO

    Additional Information
    Variety: DDO
    Mint: Denver

Last one for tonight...this time a 1943-D. There are a few of these listed that show on BE but this one seems a bit stronger and shows on IBERT and the date as well...

I don't recall ever seeing one that well defined on IBERT. Most of the time the die deterioration makes these very difficult to attribute for me. That must be a very early die state, Ray. Nice coin!

Similar doubling to 1DO-008 or 1DO-010 but the MM position looks different. Might be a new one.

Looks like I'm "on a roll" with these! Some positive ID's, and a few potential new discoveries. I guess it pays to go through your "set aside for later" pile every once in a while.

Most definitely does Sir! Especially when they look this nice! Congrats for getting ID's and new discoveries out of your "set aside for later" pile!
