Very nice find!! I don't know how current cc's numbers are but here it is. (http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/d...&die_state=mds)
Here is a link to one sold today on the bay, so I suppose cc is not far off. (https://www.ebay.com/itm/1987-D-RPM-...t=nc&LH_Sold=1)

Thanks for the links makescents. That's about as current as it gets for a value. I think CC shows $7.50 for one in EF condition but I think there values are a little low for current prices.

What you need to learn and understand, is a coin is worth what two or more people on "any given day" they think it's worth. It's as simple as that. The swing could be miraculous either direction! "Current worth" affects everything but at the end of the day, the human factor can affect all! Just sayin.

Very nice 87D RPM, Congrats! Based on the ebay price and value information on coppercoins.com listing, I'd say that looks pretty accurate. Nice research on that Jon!

Excellent find... You saved that one from the oxidation monster I do not believe CCs values have been updated in a long time... Your best bet would be searching ebay for the most current sales data!!!
Jim
