Sounds like your little ones will have just as much fun in the snow! Time to start rounding up coats, hats, scarves, gloves and rubber boots!

Ugh! I remember having to take 15 minutes just to put all my winter gear on when I was young. I am originally from Salt Lake City, Utah. I remember how hard it was to move in all the layers of thick clothes. My kids won't care after they get outside and start playing though.

And my daughter, Kylie, jumps around and rolls around in it like she is swimming. The great thing about it is that kids are washable!! Yes, I let my kids play in the dirt. I survived it and they do too. We have no video games or iPads or electronics for them. They need to be kids first!!
Seems kids have forgotten how to be kids... The art of mud pies has gone the way of the dinosaur

My kids know what mud pies are. Mud castles and all kinds of muddy things. My daughter plays with rolly pollies. Same things I did as a kid. They love to run and play. They are very active. Unlike most of the kids these days. I don't believe in just giving them electronics just to keep them quiet. My kids are loud and hyper and happy. Everyone says that I have the patience of a saint. LOL! Maybe, but I enjoy playing with my kids and watching them be kids instead of little adults. My husband and I are very playful with them and enjoy the sweet cuddles. I can't understand how parents can have kids and then just try to keep them quiet and out of their way. We want our kids to know that they are loved and make sure that they have good memories later in life.

I think those are great images of kids being kids.
I love kids in the neighborhood because that means the neighborhood is alive with energy!
