    Answered: 1982 P Rim Cud

This Rim Cud in a coin I just found, looks similar to CU-1c-1982-09(LD/Cu) Rim Cud listed here: http://cuds-on-coins.com/lincoln-cent-cuds-1982/; however it is larger and the incuse arches at both ends of the cud seem to be larger also. The arches extension in the listed coin though, is difficult to dtermine from the pictures. My coin is also a Copper Large Date.

I think the one in my Coin is a progression of that same Rim Cud; but I don't have enough experience to tell with certainty as the die wear on both coins seem to be very similar to me????

    What do you think?

    Thanks,
    Adrian

Nice rim cud Adrian! I think yours is different from the 09 listed. Yours looks to begin further south and extend to Liberty. You can email photos to JC and see what he thinks!

Nice find... Like Vivien it does not appear to be 09... Notice where the top of yours starts versus 09... 09 begins farther north of the ears top and yours begins south of the ears top... I looked thru COC and did not see a match either... Looks like a new listing to me!!!

JC listed it as CU-1c-1982-49(LD)(Cu) Rim Cud here: http://cuds-on-coins.com/lincoln-cent-cuds-1982/

Thanks JC and thanks to all of you.
