83P Highest grade with these kinds of abrasion found yet.

This is without a doubt the highest grade, of a highly abraded 83P I have found yet. It even has abrasions on the devises on the obverse.

    Thanks for looking, Jon.

Hah!! I usually staple these up in a flip as soon as I take pics but left this one loose just for you Cliff! You usually find something unusual to ask about that I don't see. It looks like there may have been a thread or hair on the original pic, I don't see anything now.

Thanks WS and Viv!! I was going to put in a flip but after a statement Ed made yesterday on another post about the flips only being one step above leaving the coin loose, I think I'll put it with my other MS 83's in the Ed system!

Nice find... The mint did a number on that one... Looks like parts of the jacket have been abraded away as well as the inner roof line and floor of the memorial... It may be 45 years old but I would bet only 1 in telo (if I spelled that correctly) years

Thanks Jim!! Yeah, there is abrading everywhere on this one but in excellent shape! I had to look up the teloyears thing. Some kind of genetic test company?
