My photos do not do justice to this awesome looking DDO, please take a look HERE at Jim's fine discovery submitted to Coppercoins and awesome photos by Bob!!!
Jim, even though my lighting makes gouges look bigger, I think these really are bigger and a later die state than your Discovery!
Way to go Jim... and thank you so much Bob! Every time I go to Coppercoins to work on attributions, I thank you for all of your hard work!
Edit: Initially when I posted this there was some copy and paste stuff that I did not intend to be here (copy and pasting the different listing numbers from Wexler and Variety Vista). I removed it immediately and I think it is gone now.

Reason: Edit
That is an awesome doubled die Viv. For sure it is one of the best obverse varieties for the date. Congrats and thanks for the kind words about my photos on coppercoins. (I personally think they are out of focus, but I do like the color)

Thank you Bob for taking a look! It is a great doubled die and I can imagine what Jim thought when he first saw it!
Bob, I just had to laugh a little about your comment... it's just funny to me when a pro picks at his work. But, it's your professionalism and great knowledge that made you who you are and also produced thousands and thousands of great photos and attribution notes! I agree with you... the color is great also
Thank you Cliff and Larry J! The first thing I saw of this coin under the scope was the last 1 of the date... and I knew right away it was going to be something! A very nice DDO for sure!
Excellent find Vivien... That's not mine tho... Mine is still in my lock box Looks like the crack on the shield makes it to the E of UNITED then branches over to the D??? If so I would say a later die stage!!!
Added - I also noticed that there are some plating issues around your date that gives it a shadow date appearance to the SE... Makes your DDO even more unique!!!

Thank you Jim! After looking at many normal... somewhat boring Shield cents, when this one popped up under the scope it was definitely a WOW! moment! Congrats Jim, this is an awesome discovery!
That area at the date does look like a combination of plating issues and poor lighting technique. Thank you also for confirming a later die state, I thought that die crack at the Shield looked more advanced than your discovery!
